The vision of the Central Valley Book Bank (CVBB) is that every child in the Central Valley will have access to an adequate supply of age appropriate books to help them become proficient readers. As a project of the United Way of Fresno County, CVBB provides free and low cost children’s books to schools and nonprofit organizations servicing low income and disadvantaged populations. Our mission is to act as a resource for programs dedicated to developing a desire to read and improving reading skills while enhancing classroom and home libraries.
